Ventilator was designed over 20 years ago and is still being produced today. Its success is due to its unique shape, which is derived more from that of a propeller than a windmill. Yet it comes with all the features a device like that has to have. Its motor is visible in the centre and the straight-line blades are made of a fine steel frame, over which a transparent foil is stretched. This way they look unusually weightless, though they operate extremely efficiently. Depending on the time of year Ventilator can produce either warm or cool air: In summer the oscillating cools things down, while in winter gentle air circulation distributes warm air throughout the room. There is a choice of three speeds, which can be set using an external variable transformer.
